Announcing the new project from Tiny Frog Productions: SOLITARY: NOTES FROM ISOLATION. This new short film marks the directorial debut of René Zara (writer/actor of the award-winning short MRS. OSBOURNE). This title will feature poetry from lauded New England writers, performed and shot completely in isolation due to COVID-19 shutdown. About the Film

Tiny Frog Productions presents a film shot entirely in quarantine in Spring 2021, during the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown. Solitary: Notes from Isolation tells the story of four individuals trying to find solace and peace during a soul-testing time of strife while sheltering in place. This collection of vignettes is told through the enactment of poems written by artists who were inspired by their own experiences during the global shutdown. Each vignette illustrates different stages of emotion during this historic period of isolation: Despair, Frustration, Loss, and Hope. This film acts as a time capsule of life during one of the most impactful moments of the century. Using remote broadcasting technology over video conference, René Zara - in her directorial debut - oversaw shooting of each vignette performed in the actor's own quarantine-safe homes.
